Metroid Prime: Federation Force was just Announced at Nintendo’s E3 Direct

Despite being a very in-demand title, Nintendo had left us stranded without any Metroid games for a while—until now. At their E3 Digital Event, Nintendo announced Metroid Prime: Federation Force. This upcoming 3DS title will include a four player co-op world to explore, a first for the Metroid series. Furthermore, the previously revealed Blast Ball, a three-on-three sci-fi sports game, will be part of this release as a separate mode. While not many more details were given, we do know that Metroid Prime: Federation Force will be available sometime in 2016.
