Nintendo launched their first mobile app, Miitomo, in Japan just last week, and all signs thus far indicate that it’s a hit. It immediately shot to the top of the charts on iOS devices and managed to gain one million users in just three days, and now it’s passed another milestone. Just like with Apple devices, Android users in Japan seem quite pleased with Nintendo’s foray into the mobile market, as the app store shows Miitomo as hitting the top of the charts there as well. It took Nintendo a long time to decide to move into the mobile market, but it sure looks like it’s paying off for them!
