Yesterday, Just Cause 4 was officially revealed at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. Today, Square Enix decided to go in-depth on Just Cause 4 and show off everything from its storyline to its many, many ways to make things explode.
Rico Rodriguez is back again, this time in the fictional South American country of Solis. The Black Hand has taken over the country, and their leader Gabriella has turned the beautiful country into a war-torn dystopia. Rico’s mission is, of course, the same as it was in all of the other games: save Solis from the organization undermining it, all while leaving massive destruction in his path.
Just Cause 4 introduces “extreme weather.” Players can now experience natural disasters in real-time as tornadoes, massive forked lighting, and sandstorms as they tear up the world of Solis. New vehicles such as bulldozers and cranes are also introduced to help the players cause a bit of mayhem. And Rico’s trademark tether now has many more features and is fully customizable.
Just Cause 4 will be available December 4th of this year for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
