A new free app allows you to stream PC games onto your Android device. Through Remotr, you can play just about any PC game by mirroring the screen onto the device and providing onscreen controls. All you have to do is install the Windows client and then download the app.

Once you have installed the Windows client, install Remotr from Google Play onto your Android device and create an account to sign in. Upon completion, your PC should appear on the app with all your games.

However, it seems it’s not that easy to set up the in-game controls. Remotr has built in control files for Team Fortress and Counter-Strike, but has yet to develop them for more titles. Nevertheless when Nick Broida of CNET trialled Tomb Raider on it, the action scenes were smooth despite the control issues. Maybe Remotr has potential to be something worth trying?
