Last month’s Nintendo Switch event debuted Splatoon 2, and since then plenty of details have come out regarding weapons, maps, and even a possible release on September 30th. First off, it seems like a few classic weapons are getting an upgrade for Splatoon 2 including the “Heavy Splatling” minigun and a slosher-type weapon aptly called the “Slosher.” As for maps, recent screenshots show off the “Barnacles Sports Club” and a new map that features fitness areas, a pool, and climbing walls. And finally, briefly showed a September 30th release date for the game, but that has now been reverted back to “Summer 2017.” It’s doubtful that this date means the game has been delayed, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

What do you think of the new guns and map? Let us know in the comments!
