The title
formerly known as a “Wii U exclusive” will find its way to the next iteration of the console wars. During yesterday’s earning call, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced that Rayman Legends will launch on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One come February 2014, and he predicts that the arrival of new consoles will drive a higher demand for games.

“The PS4 and Xbox One will be released in a few days’ time and will be a new driving force for the industry. We are confident in our capacity to rise to the short-term challenges posed by the transition phase, thanks to the very high quality of our games, which, combined with the upcoming arrival of the next-generation consoles and the traditional ramp-up of sales during the Christmas season will trigger positive momentum towards the end of the year.”
— Yves Guillemot

The game has sold over 1 million copies since its launch in September, and is currently available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and Vita.
