The NPD Group numbers are in for the month of February, and there’s plenty of good news for Nintendo. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have dominated the US sales charts for over a year now, but Nintendo 3DS took the top spot for February. Fueled by the launch of the New Nintendo 3DS XL model and games like Majora’s Mask 3D (which took the top software spot with 515,000 combined digital and physical copies sold), 3DS sold 395,000 units for the month. New Nintendo 3DS XL made up “the great majority of these sales.” Here’s the top ten best-selling games for February:

  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora‚Äôs Mask 3D (3DS) (515,000 copies sold digitally and physically)
  • Evolve (Xbox One, PS4, PC)
  • Dying Light (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
