Paper Mario: Color Splash is set to launch on Wii U on October 7th, but a few lucky gamers have already started playing. Nintendo made the colorful game available for pre-loading last night, giving players the option to download most of the game now so that they just need a small patch to start playing on day one. However, it seems someone made a mistake, as no patch was required at all. Those who pre-loaded the game could start playing immediately. Nintendo quickly caught on to what was happening, and they have now removed the pre-load option for the game.
