The Super Mario Bros. franchise turns 30 this year, which means a lot of awesome stuff is coming our way. Super Mario Maker is, of course, the pinnacle of the plumber’s big celebration, but it was recently discovered that Mattel is teaming up with Nintendo to bring us the icing on the cake: Super Mario Hot Wheels.
Six of these collectible toy cars will be released, each with a design inspired by some of Mario’s most popular games. Four of the games represented are a part of the
Super Mario Bros. series and feature a special 30th anniversary logo on the packaging. The final two cars feature Super Mario Kart and Doctor Mario.
Here’s a complete list of the releases:
- Dairy Delivery (Super Mario Bros.)
- Cool-One (Super Mario Bros. 2)
- School Busted (Super Mario Bros. 3)
- Volkswagen T1 Panel Bus (Super Mario World)
- 8 Crate Delivery (Dr. Mario)
- A-OK (Mario Kart)
