Nintendo’s 2019 Switch lineup is already looking fairly robust early in the year. The upcoming schedule includes exclusive games like Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Yoshi’s Crafted World, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and the next generation of Pokémon games. According to the latest reports, that’s not all they have up their sleeves.
You can bet that we’ll see Nintendo Direct events at some point in 2019, and Nintendo has already confirmed that they’ll be holding an E3 press conference, so more reveals are on the way. Takashi Mochizuki of the Wall Street Journal reports that Nintendo is teasing one upcoming, unannounced game in particular, stating that “fans would be delighted” to know what it is. This game is planned for fiscal 2019, or April 1st, 2019 – March 31st, 2020.
Unfortunately, Nintendo didn’t give any specifics, so all we can do is speculate. What do you think they have in the works for Switch? What surprises do you hope to see in the next Nintendo Direct or at E3? Sound off in the comments! Personally, I’d love to see a back-to-roots
Paper Mario on Switch.
Nintendo said it is preparing at least one unannounced title for Switch in FY19 (April onward) that "fans would be delighted to know." What would that be? Reply your thoughts, please!
