Nintendo unveiled a new Metroid game at last year’s E3, and its reception was controversial, to say the least. Metroid Prime: Federation Force eschews the isolationist experience of Samus vs. The World in favor of multiplayer co-op with players assuming control of Galactic Federation soldiers. Since then, Nintendo has re-introduced the game with lots of new gameplay footage and details, and interest in the title has picked up a bit.
