Nintendo 3DS has a great selection of popular games, but not everyone can afford the handheld. For gamers on a budget, there’s Nintendo 2DS. The substantially cheaper handheld plays all the same games as other 3DS models, but it lacks the stereoscopic 3D functionality and trades in the folding clam-shell design for a more tablet-esque shape. 2DS was already a much cheaper option than other 3DS models, but Nintendo is making it even cheaper. Starting on May 20th, Nintendo is dropping the price of 2DS from $99.99 to $79.99.
