Nintendo is looking for some new mobile developers for their EAD Tokyo offices, according to a post on Nintendo’s Japanese Twitter account. Nintendo also uploaded a page with career information for potential applicants to its official website, which states that the company is looking for game development engineers for smart devices, as well as a few other positions at EAD Tokyo.
EAD Tokyo is Nintendo’s second-biggest development department in Japan (Nintendo’s main headquarters are in Kyoto) and has been responsible for creating the Super Mario Galaxy series and the Super Mario 3D series, as well as co-producing a few of the recent Legend of Zelda remakes with Grezzo. None of Nintendo’s upcoming mobile games are being developed by EAD Tokyo, so this could mean that the company is starting to work on a new title for smart devices.
