Extra Life is a 24 hour video game marathon that combines the popular world of livestreaming with a great charitable cause. Gaming fans can tune in for lots of fun video game action while pledging money, and the proceeds go to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, with over $14 million raised since 2010. This year, Nintendo has announced that they’ll be fielding a team to join in on Extra Life. The event takes place all day on November 7th, so if you’d like to donate (or even just watch), you can tune in at any time and help make a difference.
