Starting today, Nintendo is offering a variety of digital sales featuring some of Nintendo’s biggest characters. Each week, games surround a specific character will go on sale for both the Wii U and 3DS. From now until November 21, at 5:59 a.m. EST, Link is in the spotlight. On the Nintendo 3DS, three Legend of Zelda games are on sale: The Legend of Zelda (From $4.99 to $3.49), The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX (From $5.99 to $3.99), and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (From $4.99 to $3.49). On the Wii U, The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link are going on sale for the same price cuts as their 3DS versions.

These games will be on sale until the morning of November 21. Games featuring three other characters will go on sale each week through mid-December. Mega Man games will be on sale from November 21 through November 28, Mario games will be on sale from November 28 through December 5, and Donkey Kong games will be on sale from December 5 through December 12. These sales seem to apply to older games that are available on the eShop. For gamers who want to replay some of their favorite classics or get acquainted with a game or franchise they have missed out on, the offers available in the next few weeks will be something we’ll all want to look out for. Our Verdict

Dan Rockwood
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, and though throughout my college career I was forced to write hard news stories about local issues and interview people like police officers and local politicians, I've always wanted to get into video game writing. Whenever I had an open assignment to do for a class I focused it on video games. The majority of the news I consume is about the gaming world, whether it's from G4, IGN, Gamnesia, Zelda Informer, or from my friends on facebook, nothing gets me more excited than the developments taking place everyday in the world of gaming. Now I don't only get to play the games, I get to write about them. And that is pretty awesome.
