Nintendo just released financial data for the first six months of the current fiscal year, but what people really want to know about is the upcoming console, Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, Nintendo didn’t provide much new information about the hybrid device, but they did provide an early sales forecast. Nintendo Switch is set to launch sometime in March, and Nintendo plans to ship 2 million units before the end of March. That’s a fairly low number, so either the console is launching late in March (with more shipments coming soon after), or Nintendo is expecting very modest sales at launch.
