Nintendo is currently embracing smartphones as a viable market, but did you know they were already looking into phones as early as 2001? A relic of a patent has just surfaced, depicting a sort of unholy fusion between an old mobile phone and a Game Boy. Interestingly enough, it seems Nintendo planned to let people buy games through the phone itself, long before digital sales as we know them now became a thing. Personally I think it is for the best that this thing never went into production, but you can see the images and judge for yourself by taking a look at the gallery below

Hello everyone! I have been gaming for as long as I can remember. I still feel as enthousiastic about it as when I was a kid, perhaps even more. Though I have fun playing any kind of game, my favorite genre has to be JRPG's. I am also very passionate about Nintendo, I was brought up with their games and they do have a special place in my heart. I am also very passionate about writing, be it stories or articles, and that's why I'll try to do my very best here! P.S. Wario is number 1!
