Last time Atlus used a countdown timer on their official website for Persona 5, they released a new trailer that provided tons of new details for the game. Now the company has added seven new countdowns to the website, all counting down to different times on July 19th. This might indicate that Atlus will be revealing more footage from the game soon.

Since the game releases in Japan on September 15th, it’s no surprise that Atlus may want to show off more of the game in the next couple of months. While the company is being secretive about the details of these countdowns, an ad spotted on Niconico mentions a “Preliminary Investigation File.” We’ll make sure to provide updates here at Gamnesia as soon as we learn more.

Persona 5 releases in North America on February 14th, 2017 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Our Verdict

Adam Sherrill
Writing is half of my life. Video games make up the other half. I decided to put these two hobbies together and join Gamnesia back in 2015. I spend most of my time working at a retail store and paying off my student debt. When I'm not getting stressed about the thousands of dollars I owe my loan providers, I play tons of video games (which just puts me into more debt). I'm also currently writing a novel in what little spare time I have. It's a story I've been wanting to write for a while, but I don't want to talk about it until I have most of it completed. Any Gamnesia-related inquiries may be sent to [email protected] Feel free to follow my personal Twitter if you want (@Pindlo). I mostly just retweet things.
