Nothing has been confirmed officially yet, but the writing’s on the wall. Yesterday, International Business Times reported that Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One have surpassed 9 million and 5 million sold units respectively, the latter being a number claimed by Microsoft’s Phil Harrison. It is currently unclear, however, if these numbers refer to consoles sold to consumers or those merely shipped to retailers. Regardless, the news bodes well for both companies, despite Sony taking a sizable lead.

When do you think the two consoles will hit the landmark of 10 million consoles? And for that matter, when will the Wii U reach it?
