The immensely popular Pokémon franchise recently made a splash in the mobile market with Pokémon Shuffle (originally released on 3DS), and last month it made a tidal wave with the announcement of Pokémon GO. It looks like a lot more mobile-based Pokémon games could be on the way, as Takashi Mochizuki, a Tokyo tech reporter at The Wall Street Journal, reports that Pokémon developer Game Freak has purchased Koa Games, a mobile developer.
