In just one week the E3 show floor doors will swing open wide, and thousands of gamers, journalists, and developers will go hands-on with some of the most exciting upcoming games in the industry. Nintendo has just issued a press release to outline their schedule for the week of E3, including tournaments for Super Smash Bros. and Splatoon 2, a Nintendo Direct, the Nintendo Treehouse livestream, and more.
The schedule also briefly touched on Nintendo’s show floor lineup. We already knew that Super Smash Bros. would be playable at the event (with play slots being reserved ahead of time), and now we also know that Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! will be present as well. Pokémon games usually aren’t playable at events like E3, but every now and then Nintendo makes an exception to that rule. Given that Let’s Go deviates from the standard formula, it’s not a bad idea to get some impressions out early and build hype.
The E3 show floor will be active from Tuesday, June 12th through Thursday, June 14th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Nintendo’s E3 2018 Direct will air at 9:00 AM Pacific / Noon Eastern on June 12th. You can check out the complete E3 press conference schedule here.
