As part of the year-long celebration of the Pokémon franchise’s 20th anniversary, The Pokémon Company has been holding a series of tournaments for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Following competitions based on the first and second generations, an International Challenge has been announced. You can register to participate any time between June 16th and June 23rd, and the tournament will run from June 24th through June 26th.

Players from around the globe will be participating in a doubles tournament (up to 15 battles per day) using any Pokémon captured or hatched in
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, excluding Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Diancie, and Hoopa. 2,000 PokéMiles will be given out to participants as an entry prize.
