Last week, The Pokémon Company released a new trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon, revealing new Pokémon, new features, and more. Perhaps the most intriguing reveal was the introduction of Ultra Beasts—mysterious and powerful creatures said to inhabit the Alola region. Scans from the latest issue of CoroCoro have leaked ahead of its release in Japan, and they include two new Ultra Beasts as well as a look at two new evolutionary forms for Rockruff.

The first Ultra Beast revealed was dubbed UB-01. The second, unsurprisingly, is UB-02. What is surprising is the fact that UB-02 comes in two different forms: “Beauty” and “Expansion.” The scans show one form in Sun and one in Moon, but it’s not yet specified that they are exclusive. The scans also state that UB-01’s name is a mystery and that it may have a deep meaning.

Last month, The Pokémon Company teased that the Alolan Pokémon Rockruff had a “Secret Evolution,” and CoroCoro has revealed more details on that front as well. Rockruff’s evolved form is called Lugarugan, but it differs based on when the Pokémon evolves. Rockruff evolves into Lugarugan’s Midday Form when bathed in the rays of the sun, and when full of the night’s power, it becomes the Midnight Form. No further details are available at this time.

Finally, CoroCoro teases that the next issue will showcase the true strength of the recently-revealed Pokémon Type: Null.
