It looks like there could have been a few more levels to Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends. A concept video for the the fifth title in the popular Rayman franchise has been released, showing off scrapped features that were dropped from the final version.
One of those features the game was originally meant to have is figurines that could be added to levels in-game using near-field communication (like Nintendo’s
amiibo figurines). In the video, we see a prototype Wii U controller that would have been able to use the technology, but since this wasn’t finished in time, the figurines are instead placed on the GamePad’s screen. The entire figurine idea was eventually removed totally from the game by Ubisoft.
There are also some social and online features that didn’t make it, which you can all see in the video above!
