Retro Studios, the Nintendo-owned Texas studio behind the Metroid Prime series and the last two Donkey Kong Country games, has been working on a new title since late 2013, but we know very little about it. It seems this is because Nintendo is doing their best to keep it under wraps. According to Tamaki from Unseen64, the team that specializes in uncovering the facts behind cancelled game projects, Retro’s new game is on Wii U (as expected), and will use a new engine. What do you hope to see next from Retro?
Did a comb of Retro Studios devs. Nintendo must have them on a tight leash, but it's a Wii U game with a new engine. New IP or Metroid?
