Video game companies generally announce games with an exciting trailer or a press release, but more often than you might expect, a game is quietly leaked on accident through an online listing on LinkedIn, a slip of the tongue by an employee, or a mysterious trademark surfacing. Today’s story is the latter.

According to a report from DualShockers, Sony has filed a trademark for “Days Gone” in the US. Filed on December 28th, the trademark is filed under Class 9, which denotes game software, as well as Class 41 for online game software. The
