If you were hoping to grab a copy of Mortal Kombat X for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, you may have to wait a bit longer. Several GameStop employees have reported to Kotaku that Warner Bros. has delayed Mortal Kombat X from a summer release to the fall. If you take a gander at GameStop’s website, you can see that the retail giant has also switched the release date to a placeholder date of 12/31/15.

Interestingly enough, this is the second time that the last-gen ports of Mortal Kombat X have been delayed. The ports were originally scheduled to be released simultaneously with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC ports, but they were then pushed back to the summer. As unfortunate as it may be, it is still better to wait for a polished product than a broken one. Do you plan on picking up the last-gen port of Mortal Kombat X? What are your thoughts on the additional game delays? Let us know in the comments below!
