Sony Pictures has been revealing their roadmap for upcoming films, and that includes a lot of crossover with the video game market. The latest movie to be penned in for a release date is Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, which will conclude Paul W. S. Anderson’s re-imagining of Capcom’s survival-horror series.
Filming was delayed, as actress Milla Jovovich recently gave birth, but it will kick off next month, and the movie is targeted to launch on January 27th, 2017. The video game characters Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield, and Ada Wong are all confirmed to return for
The Final Chapter, and it is anticipated that series antagonist Albert Wesker and protagonist Leon Kennedy will return as well.
