Rise of the Tomb Raider, the sequel to the immensely popular Tomb Raider reboot, was originally announced as an Xbox exclusive. Later, it was revealed that the game would only be a timed exclusive on Xbox consoles, and that it would launch on PC in early 2016 and on PlayStation during the Holiday 2016 season.
Publisher Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics haven’t said much about the PlayStation 4 version in recent months, and no mention was made of it at this year’s E3 conference, prompting some to worry that the port had been cancelled. Thankfully this is not the case. An administrator on the official Square Enix forums has confirmed that Crystal Dynamics is still planning to release the game on PlayStation 4 this Holiday season.
