Update: Psyonix later revealed in Nintendo’s E3 stream that Rocket League on Nintendo Switch will have all the modes and features that other versions of the game have, in addition to cross-platform play and car customizations such as Mario and Luigi hats. Rocket League for Nintendo Switch is currently slated to release in Holiday 2017.

Original: Nintendo’s E3 Spotlight got off to a great start today, with the reveal that Rocket League, the wildly popular vehicular soccer game from Psyonix, is coming to Nintendo Switch. This was part of the trailer sizzle real from the start of Nintendo’s broadcast, which also showed us shots of Splatoon 2, FIFA 2018, and several other titles.

Of course, we still don’t know when the game will be making its way onto Nintendo Switch. Still, it’s great to see studios like this showing support for the console, and we can only hope we learn more about Rocket League on the Switch throughout the rest of the week.
