Nintendo’s NFC-enabled Amiibo figurines tend to sell out at alarmingly fast rates, and preordering is often the only chance many customers have of acquiring one. However, that might not be possible with the next wave at GameStop. According to a moderator of the Amiibo Reddit, certain GameStop managers have been informed that they will not be taking preorders for the Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, Olimar, and 8-Bit Classic Mario Amiibo, which all launch on September 11th. This report is unconfirmed at this time, but we’ll be watching the situation to see what develops. Good luck, Amiibo hunters!
