In case you forgot, a brand new Mega Man show is debuting later this year on Cartoon Network. The series is currently being made at Man of Action Studios, who’ve created some well-known cartoons in the past, such as Ben 10 and Disney XD’s Ultimate Spider-Man.

Since we’re getting closer to the premiere of this new series, promotional material has started to show up. Most recently, a piece of art surfaced that depicts Mega Man himself, as well as a few robot masters.

The overall reception of this artwork has been mixed. Some fans are really digging the new art style. Others are calling it out for looking too much like Ben 10 or for changing design features on the characters, such as making Mega Man’s eyes too small.

Personally, I’m not totally digging this new style, but I’ll reserve judgment for when I can see it in motion. What do you guys think? Are you liking the new art style? Do you think it needs work? Let us know in the comments below!

Our Verdict

Adam Sherrill
Writing is half of my life. Video games make up the other half. I decided to put these two hobbies together and join Gamnesia back in 2015. I spend most of my time working at a retail store and paying off my student debt. When I'm not getting stressed about the thousands of dollars I owe my loan providers, I play tons of video games (which just puts me into more debt). I'm also currently writing a novel in what little spare time I have. It's a story I've been wanting to write for a while, but I don't want to talk about it until I have most of it completed. Any Gamnesia-related inquiries may be sent to [email protected] Feel free to follow my personal Twitter if you want (@Pindlo). I mostly just retweet things.
