One of the first great Kickstarter success stories, Shovel Knight is still alive and kicking almost two years after its initial launch. Yacht Club Games’ retro platformer/RPG-lite ode to the 8-bit era has stuck around in the conversation for a while, and it seems like it won’t be leaving anytime soon. The studio has announced that Shovel Knight‘s next DLC expansion is titled Specter of Torment and will launch sometime in the spring of 2017. Though the DLC was initially supposed to arrive sometime this year, a short delay is an incidental disappointment to the polish that Yacht Club has routinely demonstrated. Specter of Torment will be free to download for Shovel Knight owners, and a third expansion is still on the way.

Jackson Murphy is eighteen years old. He is a dumb college student that you would probably hate.
