Sony has
announced that it will host its own session at the 2014 San Francisco Gamer
Developers Conference called “Driving the Future of Innovation at Sony Computer
Entertainment.” What do we know? Shockingly little, as the company has
opted only to explain in the session description that the topic of discussion
will be about “innovation at PlayStation”
and “the future of gaming.”

Though we
may speculate as to what that future actually is, there is hope that Sony’s rumored Virtual Reality Headset will be revealed at that very conference, and this piece of news has only added further fuel to the fire. Not
only that, but the session will also be graced by the presence of SCEA R&D
team Senior Director Richard Marks and Senior Software Engineer Anton
Mikhailov.
