Late president Satoru Iwata has left a lasting impression on Nintendo. Even though he has passed away, the game industry keeps him in its memory and heart. The latest example of this is Star Fox Zero; halfway through the credits sequence, at the end of the cutscene, you can see the bright horizon as the sun is slowly sinking towards the orange clouds. On that screen, a message pops up, reading: “This game is dedicated to our wingman who fell in battle.” It’s not hard to deduce that this message is about Iwata, since he passed away just last year, meaning that the loss is still fresh.

You can take a look at this tribute yourself above, but be careful, as the first half of the credits sequence is part of the game’s ending cutscene.

Hello everyone! I have been gaming for as long as I can remember. I still feel as enthousiastic about it as when I was a kid, perhaps even more. Though I have fun playing any kind of game, my favorite genre has to be JRPG's. I am also very passionate about Nintendo, I was brought up with their games and they do have a special place in my heart. I am also very passionate about writing, be it stories or articles, and that's why I'll try to do my very best here! P.S. Wario is number 1!
