Activision-Blizzard recently announced that they are spending an incredible $5.9 billion to purchase Candy Crush developer King Digital Entertainment. CEO Bobby Kotick said of the decision, “Now is the right time to enter mobile gaming,” but Late Show host Stephen Colbert has a different theory. Activision also recently announced that they’re opening a studio to create film versions of their popular franchises, and in a rather ridiculous comedy sketch Colbert acted out a scene of a future Candy Crush movie staring Liam Neeson as Mr. Toffee.
