Have you ever wanted to take a trip to the Nintendo World store? Have you been looking to find more StreetPass visitors for your 3DS games? Then here’s a Kickstarter for you!
The Kickstarter campaign is, more specifically, “a one-day round trip bus adventure for Nintendo enthusiasts.” The bus trip adventure launches on March 21, 2015 and goes round trip from Washington, D.C. to the Nintendo World Store in New York City. The journey is planned to be chock-full of games, tournaments, costume contests, and most of all, StreetPassing. In addition to the Nintendo World Store, the StreetPass Bus has planned stops along the way “to interact with Nintendo Zones or interested groups that want to meet-up to StreetPass along the I-95 corridor”. Additionally, the entire adventure is going to be captured on camera by a video crew to be used in the production of a short documentary.
The Kickstarter has only three backer tiers: $25 gets you the official “Green Light Tour T-shirt”, mailed with free shipping, $60 gets you a seat on the StreetPass Bus, and $80 gets you a seat and the official t-shirt delivered in person the day of the event. Any additional funds above and beyond the initial goal of $7000 will be put towards rider snacks and prizes, videography expenses, and Kickstarter fees.
