Super Mario Maker launches in September, giving Mario fans old and new the chance to create their own custom Super Mario Bros. levels from a wide variety of assets from four different games. Much of the experience will be about the user-generated content, but it will launch with some pre-made levels as well.
In a new video from Nintendo of France,
Rayman creator Michel Ancel reveals that he designed one of the levels that will be available on the disk (or as part of the download) at launch. Additionally, the description provided by Nintendo of France says the game will launch with over 60 levels. Previously Nintendo UK’s description stated that the game would launch with 100 levels, but later they changed it to say “dozens.” You can check out Ancel’s video (in French only, unfortunately) by clicking above!
