Music is a huge part of the Smash Bros. series. Tons of classic tunes are revamped and there are even some completely original scores that have quickly become fan favorites. Nintendo realizes this of course, so they are once again including a sound test menu in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The game comes loaded with over 800 tracks, which translates to over 28 hours of music. The songs in the game are now no longer tied to certain stages either. They are instead paired with the respective series they belong to. As such, you can now hear any Zelda melody on any Zelda stage, to give one example.

As a bonus, the My Music mode in Ultimate lets you use the Nintendo Switch’s handheld mode as a music player. Now you can listen to the entire soundtrack of Smash on the go!

What do you guys think of these new music features? Let us know in the comments below!

Writing is half of my life. Video games make up the other half. I decided to put these two hobbies together and join Gamnesia back in 2015. I spend most of my time working at a retail store and paying off my student debt. When I'm not getting stressed about the thousands of dollars I owe my loan providers, I play tons of video games (which just puts me into more debt). I'm also currently writing a novel in what little spare time I have. It's a story I've been wanting to write for a while, but I don't want to talk about it until I have most of it completed. Any Gamnesia-related inquiries may be sent to [email protected] Feel free to follow my personal Twitter if you want (@Pindlo). I mostly just retweet things.
