T-Mobile is Giving Customers a Year of Unlimited Free Data for Pokémon GO

0

Pokémon GO has been doing phenomenally well, and everyone is looking to get in on the hype surrounding the mobile phone app. This now includes phone service provider T-Mobile, who has just made a very enticing offer for any gamer who is or is thinking of using their services. As part of their next set of “T-Mobile Tuesday” rewards, they will be offering a number of GO-related services, including a full year of free, unlimited data for the Pokémon GO app!

Here’s the full list of offers and services that they’ve revealed:

– Free, unlimited data on Pokémon Go, so it won’t touch your high-speed data—for a full year!

– Free Lyft rides up to $15 to get to a new PokéStop or Gym

– Free Wendy’s Frosty to fuel up for your hunting trip

– 50% off select accessories – including portable power packs and chargers at T-Mobile stores – so you can keep on playing for hours

On top of that, 250 people will each win $100 in PokéCoins, and five people will win a Pokémon Go hunting trip anywhere in the U.S. for themselves and a guest!

Any member of the T-Mobile network can claim these rewards using the “T-Mobile Tuesdays” app for iOS and Android phones, and you can redeem it any Tuesday between Tuesday, July 19th and Tuesday, August 9th. If you aren’t yet part of that network, however, no need to worry—if you want to switch over, the offer is confirmed to be available to all customers, both “[n]ew and existing.” It’s definitely a great deal, and one that many Pokémon fans are sure to take advantage of.

“This is what T-Mobile Tuesday is all about – thanking customers with hot, new, totally free gifts every week, and right now, nothing is hotter than Pokémon Go! With the carriers’ shared data schemes, players could easily burn up the family’s data bucket – and then, hello, overages! At T-Mobile, we’re unleashing Pokémon Go so our customers can play free for a year. It’s gonna be a fantastic T-Mobile Tuesday!”
— John Legere, President and CEO of T-Mobile

What do you think of this offer? Personally, I’d give you my thoughts, but I’m too busy trying to cancel my current subscription so I can make the switch. Wish me luck, and give us your thoughts on all this in the comments below!
