Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is just a few days away from launching in Japan, and the reviews are starting to roll in. Japanese publication Famitsu has released its weekly reviews, and Smash is the highest-scoring game of the week. For those unaware of how Famitsu operates, unlike most publications they don’t give a game just one review. Four different reviewers tackle each game with a score of 1-10 for a total of 40 possible points. The first ever handheld Smash has been well-received, scoring a 37/40.
Here’s the rest of the scores from Famitsu this week:
- Super Smash Bros. for 3DS (3DS) – 10/9/9/9
- Daylight (PS4) – 8/6/8/8
- Escape Adventure: The Black Fog of Demise (3DS) – 7/7/8/7
- Aqua Moto Racing 3D (3DS) – 5/6/7/6
