October’s PlayStation Plus Lineup Includes Transformers: Devastation, Resident Evil, and More

We are currently in the throes of September this week, with only a mere two days left until the Autumnal month of October rears its leaf-ridden head. Much like every month of the year, the beginning of October means there is a brand new list of free games for PlayStation Plus members to get their hands on. Considering the limited selection of recent months, October may prove to be the most exciting month we have seen in a while.

Transformers: Devastation and the Resident Evil HD remake will be available on PlayStation 4. Eric Chahi’s From Dust and Techland’s Mad Riders line out the PlayStation 3 offerings. Finally, two visual novels, Actual Sunlight and Code Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~, will be available for Vita owners.

You can check out September’s games
here, which are still available for a limited time.

Is there anything on the list that excites you? Are there any games still available you think members should download before they are gone? Let us know in the comments below!

Here’s a New Action-Packed Trailer for Transformers: Devastation

Platinum Games, a studio renowned for its incredible action games, such as Bayonetta, Mad World, and co-developing the yet to be released Star Fox Zero, is making a Transformers game called “Transformers: Devastation.” This game received a new trailer yesterday which shows off intense, fast-paced combat. I can’t help but notice the similarities with the Bayonetta games (and that’s a good thing), and there even seems to be a time-slowing mechanic akin to Bayonetta’s “Witch Time.” Transformers: Devastation releases on October 6 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

I’m not even that big of a Transformers fan, but after seeing this trailer, I can’t wait to get my hands on this game! Did this trailer impress you too? Let us know in the comments below!

Transformers: Devastation gets a New Trailer

While it was originally announced at E3, we didn’t get to see too much of Transformers: Devastation, Platinum Games’ new beat-em-up. However, a new trailer was just shown off at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This trailer showcases much more gameplay footage, shows us more playable characters than before, and gives us a look at the assumed main antagonist, Devastator. With the combination of Platinum Games and comic book Transformers, this is looking to be a great title. Enjoy the trailer above.
