In a recent interview with TIME, the executive director of Xenoblade Chronicles X and head of Monolith Soft, Tetsuya Takahashi, made some interesting comments regarding the Xeno series. Earlier, he had already said that he wanted to explore new settings with the next Xenoblade Chronicles game, if he was allowed to make one. In this interview he underscored that by saying he gets bored with things quite easily and that he wants his next project to be something different, but he also said the “Xeno” name only exists to clarify which games are his projects.

“I tend to get bored with things pretty easily, so I’d like to keep creating things with different approaches every time. Along those lines, I’d definitely like my next project to look and feel pretty different from this one. The ‘Xeno’ name, by the way, really just exists to make it clear that these are Tetsuya Takahashi productions.” — Tetsuya Takahashi

Our Verdict

Hello everyone! I have been gaming for as long as I can remember. I still feel as enthousiastic about it as when I was a kid, perhaps even more. Though I have fun playing any kind of game, my favorite genre has to be JRPG's. I am also very passionate about Nintendo, I was brought up with their games and they do have a special place in my heart. I am also very passionate about writing, be it stories or articles, and that's why I'll try to do my very best here! P.S. Wario is number 1!
