Over the course of the next few months, Nintendo is releasing many highly anticipated first-party titles. Many of them are releasing in an attempt to bring the Wii U back to prosperity and, if everything goes as planned, these games should allow Nintendo to have a very profitable holiday season.
Since their announcement, these games have had ambiguous release plans revealed to the public, with titles such as The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds getting a “November” release and others just being set for the holiday season. The time for ambiguity seems past now, at least according to Target.
The retailer has listed the release dates of many of these games on their website and, while these dates are not officially confirmed, they do seem more legitimate than just the “-insert month- 1st” placeholders that we usually see popping up for the holiday season around this time of year. An interesting note is that all of these dates happen to be Fridays, which would bring support to the idea of them simply being well-thought-out placeholders.
The Target website has these listings:
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds — November 22nd
What do you think? Do you believe these release dates? Or will you wait for the official announcement before you get excited?
