In the company’s recent financial reports, Nintendo’s CEO Tatsumi Kimishima reassured investors and its audience that the company wouldn’t simply replace the Wii U and 3DS with the upcoming NX hardware. This seems to imply that the company won’t drop support of both systems come the NX’s launch in March 2017. Whether or not the company follows through on this promise is another matter. One only has to glimpse at the Wii U’s 2016 line-up to support their doubts.
