Earlier we reported that the Tetris movie adaption would be a trilogy, but now one of the producers, Larry Kasanoff, has told us why. Apparently the story they have conceived is so big that they need three movies to tell it. In other words, they managed to turn a game that consists entirely of lining up falling blocks into an “epic, sci-fi story” that needs three full movies to tell. Kasanoff also stated that nobody yet has guessed what they are actually doing with the movie.
