Mods are a major part of most Bethesda games, and they’ve started bringing official mod support to console versions of some of their latest and greatest games. Fallout 4 is one of the first to get this privilege, and fans have been able to modify the game as they wish for nearly a month on Xbox One. However, Sony players are not so lucky. Mods were supposed to come to the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 4 “soon,” preceded by a beta, but this morning Bethesda announced that the beta was being delayed.
As of yet, no reason has been given for the delay, and we have yet to get a new release date for it. We’ve already heard that
Bethesda was having issues with getting the system to work within the PS4’s limitations, so they probably just need a bit more time to work out all the kinks before letting fans use it. Hopefully we’ll hear more about this in the next few days.
How do you feel about this delay? Are you anxious to start altering
Fallout 4 on your Sony console, or have you already been enjoying that power elsewhere? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!
We regret to say that the PS4 Mods Beta for Fallout 4 has been delayed. We will update everyone when we can.
