Some artwork from Halo Wars 2 recently leaked online that suggested that the game takes place before Halo 3. We also suspected that this leak could have indicated that Microsoft had plans to show off the game at E3 2016. While we’re still unsure about the game’s presence at the trade show, Reddit user TheLittleMoa dug up some information from the Xbox Store about it. This includes new screenshots, as well as a date for a beta test, which starts on June 13th, the day that Microsoft will be holding their press conference, and lasts through June 20th.

The beta will take up 13 GB and is said to support up to six players. While we don’t have more information than that, there’s a good chance that more will be revealed about the game during their press conference this Monday at 9:30 AM PT. Be sure to check back with Gamnesia for more information during E3 2016! For now, you can view screenshots for the game in the gallery below.

Our Verdict

Writing is half of my life. Video games make up the other half. I decided to put these two hobbies together and join Gamnesia back in 2015. I spend most of my time working at a retail store and paying off my student debt. When I'm not getting stressed about the thousands of dollars I owe my loan providers, I play tons of video games (which just puts me into more debt). I'm also currently writing a novel in what little spare time I have. It's a story I've been wanting to write for a while, but I don't want to talk about it until I have most of it completed. Any Gamnesia-related inquiries may be sent to [email protected] Feel free to follow my personal Twitter if you want (@Pindlo). I mostly just retweet things.
