Jason Michael Paul has been inspired by video games and the music therein for years. His production company has brought the now famous Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses to stages around the world since 2011, and now it seems he finds himself wanting to create a similar symphony for the Super Mario series.

Jason Michael Paul Productions is eager to work on something new after years of the Symphony of the Goddesses. An Elder Scrolls Symphony could happen according to Paul, but his heart still seems to be Nintendo’s.

“I recently put together a really nice proposal for a Super Mario symphony. And we’ll see. Hopefully it will stick. I also had another concept called Super Smash Symphony, but that’s not going to happen. It’s too complicated.” — Jason Michael Paul, Symphony of the Goddesses executive producer

According to the source below, Paul has submitted other proposals to Nintendo, but true to their reputation, Nintendo doesn’t accept just any proposal for a new project, especially one of the magnitude of another Nintendo-inspired symphony.

That being said, I hope a Super Mario symphony hits stages worldwide very soon! I’m about to see the Symphony of the Goddesses for a second time, and I can’t wait to see the new Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild additions to the show. Our Verdict

Eric Zavinski
Hey all! I've been a gamer since I was three. I'm one of those people with gaming so ingrained in them that watching my father play Super Mario 64 is actually my first memory I can recall. I love writing too! I'm writing an original fantasy series that takes place in another universe; it may take some inspiration from some of my favorite franchises. I've been a journalist for a few years, have worked on local and national teams, and have garnered experience assigning stories, editing, writing, interviewing, hosting a television series, running a YouTube channel, and doing other stuff that's more fun to mention in conversation. Bios can drag on. Anyway, I'm super stoked to be a part of the Gamnesia team! Thanks for having me!
