Today, Bethesda announced that Id Software’s highly anticipated (and insanely metal) reboot of Doom will release on May 13th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A trailer has been released along with the announcement that showcases various weapons and enemies in a heart-pounding combat montage through Union Aerospace Corporation’s facility on Mars and Hell itself.

The publisher also announced a Collector’s Edition. It features a 12-inch statue on an LED-lite base of one of Doom‘s many demons, The Revenant. It also includes a metal case for the game and will sell for $120.

Preorder bonuses were also revealed today. Anyone who preorders gets “The Demon Multiplayer Pack” which contains three skin variations, six paint colors, and three id Software patterns to put on your armor and weapons. They will also receive the six “Hack Modules,” which are consumables that will give you an advantage in Multiplayer.

Alan Wake changed my life forever. I'm not afraid to admit my undying love for Animal Crossing. I plan to devote my life to writing and art. I have been playing video games since about the age of three and they have stayed my greatest passion. I began writing in high school through poetry and became interested in writing as a career going into college.
